At Sharjah Old Cars Club, we take pride in being part of Sharjah’s sporting and heritage landscape, under the generous patronage of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the guidance of the Sharjah Sports Council headed by H.E. Sheikh Dr. Khaled Bin Humaid Saqer Al Qasimi.
Sharjah Old Cars Club was established on 6 March 2008 under the generous guidance of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to serve as an official platform that brings classic-car enthusiasts together under one unified community.
His Excellency Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zoud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Classic Cars Club, affirmed that Emirati women have proven their excellence across various fields. He noted that this occasion comes as an appreciation and recognition of their firmly established efforts in supporting the nation’s progress, and as a reflection of the wise leadership’s belief in the importance of the contributions of the daughters of the nation and their active role in supporting development, growth, and the achievement of accomplishments.
The Ajman Department of Tourism Development honored the Sharjah Classic Cars Club for its participation in the Route 44 Classic and Modified Cars Exhibition, which witnessed the participation of more than 500 classic and modified cars of various types. The exhibition was held in Al Zorah, one of the most prominent tourism and leisure destinations in the Emirate of Ajman.
The Sharjah Classic Cars Club participated in the fifth edition of the Diriyah Classic Cars Festival, held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 27 to 29 February. The festival is considered the largest of its kind in the Middle East, with the participation of more than 500 classic and rare cars.
Under the patronage and in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, the Sharjah Cars Festival—its first edition in the Emirate—was launched on the evening before last at Al Majaz Amphitheatre. The festival brought together car and motorcycle enthusiasts in a unique experience infused with passion and challenge, offering an in-depth look into the world of automobiles.
The Sharjah Classic Cars Club granted honorary membership to Sheikh Hamdan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan in appreciation of his contributions, as he is considered one of the prominent figures interested in preserving classic car collectibles and documenting their history.
