The Ajman Department of Tourism Development honored the Sharjah Classic Cars Club for its participation in the Route 44 Classic and Modified Cars Exhibition, which witnessed the participation of more than 500 classic and modified cars of various types. The exhibition was held in Al Zorah, one of the most prominent tourism and leisure destinations in the Emirate of Ajman.
His Excellency Saleh Al Jaziri, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, said: “Classic and modified car exhibitions enjoy great popularity in the UAE, which we clearly observed through the large number of participants and visitors, including families and individuals, who flocked to attend the event. The exhibition contributed to boosting tourism activity in the Emirate, which is the main objective of organizing such events.”
He added: “The Ajman Department of Tourism Development seeks to intensify the organization of events and activities that attract strong public interest in order to stimulate tourism movement and promote the Emirate’s tourist destinations. There are many events that will be organized as part of the Department’s plan for the current year.”
The event attracted thousands of classic car enthusiasts—especially families—who came to view an unprecedented collection of vehicles, some of which date back to the 1950s.
